This website is operated by Protvi, Kolkata, India ("Protvi", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order details: when you place an order we ask for your name, WhatsApp number, delivery address and the products and quantities you want.
- Launch list: if you join our launch list we store the email address you give us.
- Messages: when you contact us on WhatsApp or by email we keep the conversation so we can help you.
- Technical data: like most websites, our server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To confirm, prepare and deliver your order and to send you order updates on WhatsApp.
- To send you a secure payment link and to confirm that payment has been received.
- To reply to your questions and requests.
- To send occasional news about Protvi products to people who joined our launch list. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any message.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a payment gateway regulated in India. When you pay, your card, UPI or banking details are entered directly with Razorpay and are never stored on our servers. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to that information.
Order confirmations and updates are sent through the WhatsApp Business platform provided by Meta. Your WhatsApp number is used only for messages about your order or your enquiry.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies so that forms work securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes under Indian law, and launch-list emails until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. To do so, contact us using the details on the Contact Us page.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
